A vCIO... What problem are you solving?

So after listening to the logic, appointing a vCIO makes sense. But what do I actually get?

It's a fair question, and the response should be unique to each customer.

A virtual (or part-time) CIO will bring the full breadth of capability of a CIO, which includes business acumen and the ability to translate that into product and technology strategies.

You can expect leadership capability including adaptability, resourcefulness and emotional intelligence, which will be applied in functions including transformation, governance, coaching and sourcing.

In essence, your business priorities set the agenda, and a vCIO has the toolkit to plan with you, and deliver all your technology related business outcomes.
