The typical end of year chaos is behind us as we closed out 2023. If you’re running a small business, you’re probably preparing to re-open, or maybe you didn’t close at all.
2024 is predicted to bring its own economic challenges with continued global unrest. Inflation is predicted to calm, but we’ll see a continued cost of living impact. You might have a business and household to run, so we just need to put those into the “uncontrollable” column, and get on with it.
Are you planning to do it differently this year, or rinse and repeat 2023? If it’s the latter, you’re definitely planning to get back onto the hamster wheel, rejoining the same repetitive, continuous cycle in your way of business, and your way of life.
This is the time of year to reevaluate and do something different. Review your personal and professional plan for 2024, and question whether you have the right strategy, the right support network, the right partners.
Remember the hamsters are still on the wheel because they don't know how to get off. They think they are going somewhere!
